CHRG Brings the Spirit of Giving to the Local Community this Christmas

This festive season, Castle Hill RSL Group (CHRG) is focused on making a meaningful contribution to the lives of those who need it most.

Across its three hospitality venues – Castle Hill RSL Club, Club Parramatta, and Lynwood Golf and Country Club – CHRG is working to support two vital organisations that are making a difference in the community.

Throughout December, CHRG will donate $1 from every schnitzel sold to Foster Care Angels, an organisation that supports children living in foster care. These funds will help provide practical support and services to children and young people who often face significant challenges in their daily lives.

At Club Parramatta, there’s an additional effort to help those in need. The club is proudly supporting Parramatta Mission with their “Plate for a Mate” fundraiser, which provides meals to people experiencing homelessness or hardship. Donations can also be made directly to the cause through Parramatta Mission’s fundraising page.

CHRG Group CEO, David O’Neil shared the group’s motivation behind the initiative. “Christmas is a time when many of us celebrate with loved ones, but it’s also a time to reflect on the needs of others in our community. By contributing to these organisations, we hope to make a small difference in the lives of those who are doing it tough.”

For CHRG, this is not just a seasonal gesture but a continuation of its commitment to supporting the local community. The partnership with Foster Care Angels reflects an understanding of the unique challenges faced by children in care, while the collaboration with Parramatta Mission aligns with the group’s long-standing dedication to addressing food insecurity and homelessness.
