Nominate your Hills hero for the 2025 Australia Day Awards

Hills Shire Residents can now nominate a deserving mate or group they know to be honoured on The Australia Day Awards 2025.

The awards are an opportunity to recognise and celebrate Hills heroes who have made outstanding contributions to our community.

The awards are presented in five categories:

• Citizen of the Year
• Senior Citizen of the Year (over 65)
• Young Citizen of the Year (24 and under)
• Environmental Citizen of the Year
• Community Group of the Year

Nominees must be residents of The Hills Shire Local Government Area (LGA) and must have made a positive impact on The Hills Shire community over the past year.

Finalists of the 2025 awards will be announced in the lead-up to Australia Day 2025.

To submit a nomination, visit The Hills Shire Council’s website and search for ‘Australia Day Awards’ to fill out the simple online application form.

Nominations close on Friday, 15 November 2024.
