War Widow Jean Cuthbert

Jean Cuthbert, a 97 year old War Widow and a long-standing member of the Hills Shire Garden Club, is seen here cutting her cake to share with the members.

Although Jean doesn’t do a lot of physical gardening now, she still enjoys the garden magazine and coming to the meetings with her daughter Sandra. She has a passion for flowers and some of her garden roses are over fifty years old.

The Hills Shire Garden Club meets on the 3rd Monday of the month at 1pm at Barton Hall 178 David Rd Castle Hill. All welcome. Enquiries 9624 5034.
