Tender Awarded For Stringer Road Reserve

I’m happy to let you know that we have awarded the tender for the construction of Stringer Road Reserve in North Kellyville at last night’s Council meeting. The awarding of the tender is a key step forward in the building of the Stringer Road Reserve Sports Complex, which will feature:

Four rectangular multipurpose fields that can be reconfigured into two oval shaped fields, with allocations envisaged for Soccer, AFL and Cricket;

• Two full size multipurpose basketball courts;
• Cricket practice nets;
• Children’s playground;
• Amenities building;
• 250 space carpark;
• Spectator seating;
• Pathways; and
• Picnic facilities.

I’m very excited to see this project underway, which will encourage active and passive recreation and enhance social connection for the entire community.
