Hawkesbury Police Area Command Car Crash at Wilberforce

A teenage boy has died following a two-vehicle crash at Wilberforce Road, near Freemans Reach Road, Wilberforce.

At about 4:35 am today, Tuesday, 19 November 2024, emergency services were called to the scene following reports of a two-vehicle crash.

Officers attached to Hawkesbury Police Area Command attended and found a truck with a dog (trailer) and a hatchback had collided.

The male driver of the hatchback, aged 17, was found deceased at the scene.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.

The male truck driver, age unknown, was uninjured and will be taken to Nepean Hospital for mandatory testing.

Hawkesbury Police have established a crime scene and commenced investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Road closures are in place along Wilberforce Road, from the roundabout at Freemans Reach Road and Rose Street.

Motorists are urged to avoid the area and allow additional travel time.
