National Collectables Fair Comes to Hawkesbury Showground
Are you a collector? Mark your calendars! The Sydney Collectables Fair & Exhibition is set to take place at the Hawkesbury Showground Pavilion on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th of August.
This two-day event is a must-see for collectors of all levels, featuring thousands of items including toys, dolls, coins, stamps, postcards, militaria, ceramics, bottles, Australiana, glass, cards, badges, tools, jewellery, and so much more!
This year’s fair is particularly special, as it will host a National Exhibition of Collectables from around Australia. Visitors can explore over 100 different categories of collectables from private collections, many of which are rarely displayed in public.
For those in the know, this is an event not to be missed!
“It’s been five years since our last collectables event and we are all really looking forward to this new venue” said Martin Ruckert of the Antique Bottle, Ceramic & Collectables Club of Sydney.
“We have collectors coming from New Zealand, Western Australia, South Australia, and all over the country. There’s something about the National that inspires people to bring those rare and hard to get collectables out for sale, giving us all a chance to add that one special item to our own collections.”
The ABCCCS has been working closely with Lions clubs for over 15 years to bring these events to life. “We are always excited to partner with Lions Clubs to support their important community projects. This way, we can host an amazing event while giving back to our community.”
