Seniors Week 2022

This year’s Seniors Week’s theme is all about reconnecting. It was great that we could connect again at a special movie screening of The Duke at Events Cinemas Castle Towers.
- This was the Council’s way of thanking our senior’s community for everything they have done for our community, especially over the last 12 months, which have been incredibly challenging.
- It’s not easy being separated from family and friends, but residents were committed to remaining safe and protecting others from COVID-19.
- Because of this, we could “reconnect” at the special Seniors Week movie screening and I could say “thank you” in person. So thank you for this, and I’m excited for all our other projects and events which are coming back online, including shows at the Pioneer Theatre.
