I’ve been blown away by how much work has already been completed at Samantha Riley Drive Reserve in North Kellyville. Only a few months earlier we were standing on a vacant block looking at the approved Masterplan for the brand-new Reserve.

So far, heavy machinery is onsite and bulk earthworks have begun to transform the eastern portion of the site into two sporting fields.

As we move through each stage of the plan, more will be done to build the facility, which will include:

  • Four multi-purpose turf sports fields that can also be reconfigured into two ovals;
  • Amenities building with accessible toilets, change rooms, kiosk, referee room and storage;
  • 200 space carpark;
  • Cricket practice nets;
  • Shared pathways;
  • Children’s playground with picnic settings; and
  • Basketball half court.

This is a fantastic project that shows Council’s commitment to delivering more open space facilities for the North Kellyville community.

I’m looking forward to this Reserve being completed and opening to residents in the second half of 2023.
