A United Effort to Prevent Domestic and Family Violence in The Hills
Over the past decade, awareness of domestic and family violence (DFV) has grown significantly across Australian communities, leading to increased advocacy, education, and prevention initiatives.
While progress has been made, lasting change requires a united, strategic, and communitydriven approach to ensure long-term impact. Addressing DFV is not the responsibility of any one individual or organisation—it requires collaboration, shared knowledge, and a commitment to proactive solutions.
Enter Click Collab—a powerful initiative designed to unify and strengthen DFV prevention efforts in The Hills through a structured, six-stage annual planning process.
This framework offers a clear and inclusive roadmap for individuals, community leaders, and organisations to work together towards meaningful, sustainable change. By fostering partnerships, sharing resources, and promoting proactive strategies, Click Collab empowers local communities to take an active role in DFV prevention.
Co-created by Kirrily Dear and Kerrie Edwards, founders of the non-profit organisation Run Against Violence, Click Collab takes an upstream approach to family violence prevention. Rather than focusing solely on crisis intervention, Click Collab provides a structured approach to unifying prevention efforts, empowering communities to take proactive and sustained action against DFV.
Through education, collaboration, and structured planning, Click Collab ensures that every participant—whether an individual, business, or community group—can contribute effectively to a safer future.
As part of its ongoing commitment to community-driven initiatives, CHRG is proud to support Click Collab. With a strong history of advocating for programs that promote safety, well-being, and social responsibility, CHRG recognises the power of collective action in driving real, tangible change.
The organisation stands firmly behind the vision of Zero DFV, Together, reinforcing the belief that a united effort can help create a safer, more supportive environment for everyone in The Hills.
