Planting Trees for the Queen’s Jubilee

Last month we celebrated Her Majesty the Queen’s Jubilee 70 years on the throne serving our country and the Commonwealth.

Her reign has outlasted 16 Australian Prime Ministers, 20 NSW Premiers, 14 US Presidents, and 67 Melbourne Cup winners. She has been a constant in an ever-changing world.

Her service is remarkable, and her timeless values of duty, service and responsibility are an inspiration to people across our community, our country, and the world.

In recognition of this special occasion, community-based tree planting events will be held across Australia.

Planting Trees for The Queen’s Jubilee will run over the next three years.

The program will provide up to $15.1 million in grant funding to eligible groups and organisations for community-based tree planting events.
