Get Set For Vegas in The Hawkesbury

By Tony Bosworth | Editor Hawkesbury Post

As the popular Pink Royale Casino Night returns for another spin.

Well-known Hawkesbury charity Pink Finss is holding its Pink Royale Casino Night this June in place of the fund-raising Pink Tie Ball which had to be cancelled in April due to the floods.

Pink Finss was established in 2010 to support Hawkesbury women and their families diagnosed with cancer.

“Whilst it was a really difficult decision to cancel the Pink Tie Ball, we knew it was the right decision for the community,” the charity’s Events Organiser, Leann Tibbey says.

“We couldn’t possibly ask people to come out to celebrate when they were hurting the way they were”.

Once things began to get back to some semblance of order, the fundraising committee re-grouped and set about organising the return of the highly successful Pink Royale Casino Night to fill the gap left by the Pink Tie Ball.

The event will be held on Saturday, June 4. “We last held the Pink Royale Casino Night in 2019 and it was extremely successful. People loved stepping into what felt like a Casino and having the opportunity to play on the gaming tables like they would expect to do in Vegas. The atmosphere really was electric and it felt like something different for the Hawkesbury,” Ms Tibbey says.

“This year our event is being held at Windsor Function Centre which provides a great central location in Windsor and has a certain feel conducive to Vegas!”

Local band Woodford will be playing at the event so guests can enjoy a night back on the dance floor again.

Tickets can be purchased at Pink Finss Charity/Events/Pink Royale and sponsorship opportunities are available by emailing [email protected]
