NSW Carers Advisory Council Membership Now Open

Carers provide ongoing, unpaid support to people who need it because of their disability, chronic illness, mental ill-health, dementia or frail age. The Council advises the NSW Government on legislation, policy and other matters relating to carers. It has a critical role in advancing the interests of carers, including increasing awareness and improving recognition of their contribution.

Many current and former Council members are carers or have previously been carers. A role on the NSW Carers Advisory Council is an opportunity to make a difference.

Applications close at 12 noon Tuesday 13 December.
