Notable residents of the 19th Century Hawkesbury

Some remarkable identities have resided in the Hawkesbury during the 19th century. These include solicitors, entrepreneurs, publicans, magistrates, botanists, postal workers and the odd convict or two. Local History Librarian Michelle Nichols will deliver a presentation on a selection of local inhabitants. Some of the names will be familiar whilst others will be a little more mysterious.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, 11 July commencing at 10am, at Hawkesbury Central Library, 300 George Street, Windsor. No bookings required. Morning tea will be available after the talk.
