New Accessible Playground for Box Hill
The brand new Equinox Drive Reserve, in Box Hill, is now officially open for play.
The new Reserve features an accessible playground, park furniture and a basketball shooting circle, as well as a nature play area which includes tree stumps and logs, and doubles as a home for native insects and wildlife.
It also includes a 2.5 metre shared pathway for cyclists and pedestrians, as well as footpaths that connect to the broader Box Hill path network.
This project was made possible thanks to grants from the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment’s Everyone Can Play program and the Australian Government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program.
