Mcmahons Park Fitness Equipment

Following feedback from the public, and to ensure the safety of park users, the aging fitness equipment at McMahons Park in Kurrajong is being removed.

Council officers have inspected the equipment and it is clear that it has reached the end of its usable life. The pull-up bars have been deemed safe to remain in place.

Currently, a Plan of Management is being drafted for McMahons Park, which includes the installation of new, modern and safe equipment.

Council has already set aside money for the new equipment. The new equipment will be installed once the Plan of Management is completed, which is expected to be in mid 2023.
