MAYOR BYRNE GOES AUSSIE
Castle Hill business Aussie Pumps recently had the pleasure of a visit from The Hills Shire Mayor, Dr Michelle Byrne.
Aussie Pumps staff were keen to show Mayor Byrne the steps the company is taking to help protect the nation from bushfires as part of their ‘Fire Ready’ program.
In a comment to the team Mayor Byrne said “Your dedication and support has seen your business go above and beyond, and to provide valued local employment opportunities”.
As part of the factory tour, Mayor Byrne and Hills Shire’s Economic Development Officer James McKenzie, were shown the Aussie assembly line in action. Aussie Pumps has ramped up production firefighting pumps ahead of what is predicted to be a horror fire season.
“I would like to thank you again for your service to The Hills Shire, as well as your ongoing support to helping famers in drought stricken regions and our hardworking emergency services,” said Mayor Byrne.
