Man Arrested For Unsafe Driving On Old Northern Road
A man was arrested this monring after a truck allegedly overtook other motorists in a dangerous manner on Old Northern Road on Friday (23rd June).
Officers from The Hills Police Area Command received a report of a truck driving in a dangerous manner, including performing an illegal overtaking manoeuvre, on the Old Northern Road at Glenorie at about 1pm on Friday (23rd June).
A message was broadcasted over police radio across the north-west and western Sydney area as officers commenced inquiries to locate the truck.
Officers from Traffic and Highway Patrol Command then became aware of the incident and commenced inquiries to identify the driver of the vehicle.
Following extensive inquiries, investigators attended a trucking company in Revesby just after 8am on Monday 26th June.
A 41-year-old man was arrested at the location and taken to Bankstown Police Station, where he is currently assisting with inquiries.
