The winners of the 2017 Hawkesbury Sports Awards will be announced at a special Presentation Night at Lynwood Country Club on Monday, 29 May.

This annual event, proudly sponsored by Hawkesbury City Council, Lynwood Country Club and Vintage FM acknowledges sporting accomplishments of community members as well as the contributions of individuals to sporting clubs through support roles.

Winners will be announced for:

 Sports Person of the Year
 Junior Sports Person of the Year
 Senior Sports Person of the Year
 All Abilities Sports Person of the Year
 Team of the Year
 Official of the Year
 Coach of the Year
 Sporting Excellence Medallion
 Service to Sport Medallion

There are 15 young sports people worthy of 2017 Junior Sports Person of the Year, with their chosen sports ranging from swimming, karate, soccer, netball, athletics, water ski racing, and even slalom kayaking.
