Upcoming Castle Hill Library event about plastics
Children can learn more about single-use plastics and its environmental impacts.
Children can have an informative learning season about plastic, its uses and impacts at the Castle Hill Library on 20 July 2023.
The session partakes in Plastic Free July, an Australian-based charity with a global presence in spreading awareness via information-filled resources regarding single-use plastic waste and its environmental effects.
This Thursday, children from school years ages 2 to 6 can “[l]earn about the journey of plastic through the environment, its impact and what solutions we can use.”
It will begin at 4:00 PM and ends at 5:00 PM. The learning session is free of charge. Currently, only 12 spots remain. Only Hills Shire residents are allowed to participate, as per the Hills Shire Library Service.
Registration can be made online via Eventbrite here: Little Eco Warriors – GoPlastic Free!
