Hills United’s Late Surge

Hills United’s late surge in the FNSW League One Women’s Championship will be putting the shivers on the leaders Gladesville Ravens. Hills United are six points behind Gladesville (70) but have a game in hand.

The Hills United crushed Camden Tigers 7-0 last weekend to sound a huge warning to their rivals that they won’t be giving up on the minor premiership easily. Annie Halls and Alix Penne Roberts scored a brace apiece as the Hills United raced to a 3-0 lead at the breather.

This thrashing came on the back of the Hills’ 3-1 win over third-placed UNSW FC in round 26.

The Ravens are also heading the Club Championship with 346 points, with the Hills United in second place on 303.
