Hills Relay For Life Ball
On Saturday 13th April 2024 the Hills Relay For Life committee are hosting their Masquerade Gala at Castle Hill RSL to raise vital funds for cancer research.

Palliative care cuts
In the last State budget, the Minns government slashed $150 million from palliative care.
This will have severe consequences to the healthcare choices of people across NSW and add to their suffering. The Government’s cuts to palliative care undermine the important ability of patients to make choices when it matters most, and we are opposed to these cruel cut in funding.
NSW Asbestos Crisis
The investigation into the asbestos found in mulch is of a criminal nature as it is illegal in NSW to have asbestos or other hazardous materials in recycled mulch.
Because the EPA is unable to continue to collect evidence after a charge is laid, they must finish all evidence gathering and investigation prior to charging. The EPA is focused on supply chain tracing so that anyone who has received this mulch is contacted directly.
