Hills Mayor’s Christmas Party thanks all supporters and volunteers

The Hills Mayor’s Christmas Party was held on Friday 3rd December at Springfield House in Dural.

It was well attended by many local businesses, community volunteers, Councillors and other important residents who help make a difference in our community.

Mayor Peter Gangemi thanked the hardworking council staff for everything they had achieved during the year. He also thanked those present, both individually and collectively, for their support of not only The Hills Council, but the Shire and its residents.  The Mayor’s heartfelt message of thanks was appreciated by all present.

Bev Jordon, our journalist,  was lucky to sit with Hills Youth Ambassadors and Hayley Mogilin and Rebeeca Yu former youth ambassador Julie Charlton and social policy advocate and Australian youth representative to the United Nations Angelica Ojinnaka. All she could can say was WOW…such amazing young women.
