Hills Daily Grind Coffee
The Hills Daily Grind Coffee Van is an award-winning Social Enterprise project, owned and operated by Hills Community Aid.
Hills Daily Grind has worked with a diverse team of staff, students and volunteers to deliver an outstanding community-based barista service for over 5 years.
Their goal is to support positive outcomes for the community by providing information and referral at a grassroots level; alongside targeted training and education programs designed to improve social outcomes, essential workplace skills for all people with barriers to employment and community engagement.
Hills Daily Grind serves some of the biggest local events, and events across Sydney, including Hawkesbury Fest, Burramatta NAIDOC Festival, Australia Day in the Hills, Sydney Mardi Gras Parade, The Hills Winter Sleep-Out, Orange Blossom Festival, Riverstone Festival, and local community, school, sporting and social events.
Hills Daily Grind offers a variety of targeted training programs to the community including their Cafe Connect Barista Training Program (launched as YSuP in 2015) and Ready to Work (launched in 2021). To date they have graduated over 150 students through the programs!
