Ready your pedals and stunts as the Hawkesbury Hornets BMX Club will have its Big BMX Retro Event at McGraths Hill on the 17th of September, 2023.
Three events will grace the Colbee Park on Sunday. Show & Shine will give prizes and trophies to riders with the most eye-catching BMX setups. The three categories are Best Old, Best Mid, and Best New. To enter, one has to have a Gold Coin donation.
In addition, there will be a Car Boot Sale, a space for selling old parts, BMX sets, and catching up. A spot at the Car Boot costs $10, which can be reserved via BMX Car Boot Spot.
The two events will kick off at 9:00 AM.
Afterwards, a race of side hacks will begin at 10:15 AM. Riders interested in joining the race must be 14 and above and be wearing full race gear. Registration cost $10. Booking can be made via the Club’s website here.
Signing up lasts only until 9:00 PM on the 10th of September, according to the Club.
