Hawkesbury Central Library: My Moonbeam and Sunshine Boys book launch
My Moonbeam and Sunshine Boys, written by Emilee Nealon and illustrated by Emma Hennessy.
My Moonbeam and Sunshine Boys, written by Hawkesbury author Emilee Nealon, is set to launch at the Hawkesbury Central Library on 12 August 2023.
“My Moonbeam and Sunshine Boys explore a whimsical world inspired by the author’s two young boys and their contrasting personalities,” according to the event description.
“It is a tale that invites young children and their families and friends to explore the whimsical world inspired by the author’s two young boys.”

A local senior student, Emma Hennessy, has collaborated with Nealon to visualize the children’s book story.
The event is free of charge and will begin at 10:00 AM and end at noon. Bookings can be made via Eventbrite here: CHILDREN’S BOOK LAUNCH – MY MOONSHINE BOYS.
It is part of the Library’s ongoing Author Talks series, where authors can talk about their work in front of an audience. Matthew Evans, Tea Cooper, Clare Fletcher, Bryce Courtenay, Warren Fahey, Matthew Spenser, and Caroline Beecham were among the authors who presented their work.
