I am very pleased that the Fernadell Park Sporting Facility has received $3.3 million for its development as part of the NSW Government’s Multi-Sport Community Facility Fund.

I was on site at Fernadell Park with Hawkesbury City Council Deputy Mayor Barry Calvert and General Manager Elizabeth Richardson as we looked at plans for the exciting development to come.

This funding will see the establishment of a range of new facilities which includes:

– New multi-purpose fields designed for football and cricket
– Sports lighting
– Female and male toilets and changerooms
– Shelters and barbeque amenities
– Outdoor fitness equipment
– Kiosk/equipment storage
– Youth facility
– Provisions for off-street parking
The development of Fernadell Park will provide much-needed facilities to Pitt Town and the surrounding community and will enable more locals to enjoy and participate in sport.
