Free Trees for Sydney Landowners
The Creating Canopies Project is a partnership between Greater Sydney Landcare and private and public landowners to plant free trees across Sydney.
The project is offering expert advice, local native tube stock tree species and all planting materials, site prep, coordination of planting day, and ongoing support for free to eligible landowners.
To be eligible to participate, you must have land in one of the Sydney LGAs with less than 30% canopy cover (Hawkesbury included), have space for a minimum of 100 new trees on your land, assist with appropriate maintenance activities, and provide safe access to Landcare for up to 12 months.
If you are interested in participating in the Creating Canopies Project, you can visit the Greater Sydney Landcare website to learn more and sign up.
