Embrace equity was the theme of this Year’s International Women’s Day and from breakfast to dinner, organisers did just that.

Students from Castle Hill High and Our Lady of Mercy at Parramatta joined a capacity crowd at the IWD breakfast organised by Soroptimist International – The Hills at Rydges Norwest.

Keynote speaker was Rosanna Barbero from the Addison Road Community Centre who said food security was one of the biggest challenges facing people. A car full of pantry items was donated to Rosanna to take back with her. Students Aarya Sambyal (Castle Hill High) and Mia Fogolin (OLMC) gave inspiring addresses.
