There is a lot going on at Castle Towers this month including the opening of a new community hub.The community space is at the Castle Towers entrance facing the new station building.
Hills Community Aid has planned activities on Wednesdays in January starting with free children’s activities on Wednesday, January 9.In the morning from 9.30am to 12.30pm there will be beading, colouring in and books to read for young ones.
In the afternoon on January 9 there will be kid’s games including Uno and Connect 4 from 12.30pm to 2.30pm.Neither program is a child mining service.
On January 16 there are two programs aimed at women.
A vision workshop will be held from 9.30am to 12pm to enable to write down their plans for 2019 and in the afternoon, from 12.30pm to 2.30pm there will be a mindfulness session and coffee.
