Community Grants Program now open

Community groups and organisations delivering projects which involve and benefit The Hills Shire community are invited to apply for funding for 2017/18 through Council’s Community Grants Program.

Applications are open in the following categories:

Cultural Grants: to support projects, events or activities that encourage community participation, social inclusion and community engagement and enable delivery of creative, artistic and cultural projects that enrich The Hills Shire community.

Community Services Grants: to encourage community groups to develop and implement programs or projects that address social needs; build community partnerships; improve access to community services; and to provide funding which will enable community groups to be sustainable well into the future.

Funding between $1,000 and $15,000 will be considered under this program.

Applications close at 4pm on Friday 13 October 2017, and must be submitted through the grants management system, hillsshire. smartygrants.com.au/communitygrants2017-18.

Potential applicants are reminded to refer to the Community Grants Guidelines 2017-2018 to assess their eligibility to apply. All organisations and groups are strongly encouraged to discuss their projects with the relevant Council Officer prior to submitting their application.
