Comedy For a Cause
Paula Jesse is hoping people need a good laugh and will support Comedy for a Cause at Blacktown Workers Club on Friday, August 19th.
Television and radio presenter and well-known stand-up comedian PETER BERNER will be heading the line-up of comedy talent on the night with all funds raised going to flood victims in the Hawkesbury and Camden areas.
The event is being organised by Blacktown City Rotary Club members. Rotarian Paula Jesse said it was going to be a great night of fun with great prizes, raffles and auction items to be had on the night thrown in for good measure.
“ The more people we can get along, the more we can raise for flood victims on the night,” she said.
Berner is well known in both Australia and overseas, and hosted The Einstein Factor and Backberner on ABC Television and previously hosted the news comedy TV series The B Team with Peter Berner on Sky News Australia.
Also on the comedy bill on the night is Daniel Townes, Bruce Griffiths and Mat Wakefield. Tickets are $60 each and can be booked at comedyforacause.net/FLOODS
