CHRISTMAS FUN

AN evening of family fun is promised at the Christmas in the Hills celebration next Wednesday, December 12 at Bella Vista Farm.

Santa of course will be dropping in to say hello but there will also be a petting zoo, amusement rides plus members of The Mounted police, the Hills police, The SES and the Rural Fire Service.

There will also be plenty of food trucks and coffee carts to fuel hungry tummies during the evening.

Gates open at 4pm. St Paul’s Anglican Church at Castle Hill and Wesley Uniting Church at Castle Hill are helping run the carols by candlelight which features a 49-piece orchestra and choir specially formed for the night. It will start at 7pm, following the kid-friendly entertainment

The event concludes with a spectacular firework display at 9pm.

The crowds were so large at last year’s event that it’s been moved to a bigger space at Bella Vista Farm Park to accommodate more families.

Christmas in the Hills is supporting three local organisations working with young people in the Hills: Foster Care Angels, Learning Links and Hills Community Aid.

Tickets are $8 and can be purchased from the Christmas in The Hills website, www.christmasinthehills.com.au.
