The Rouse Hill Rhinos Junior Rugby League Club, established in 2007, is celebrating its 18th season with great enthusiasm.

The club has made significant strides over the years, producing a handful of NRL players in the last three years and boasting two Australian Schoolboy representatives this season: Lachlan Coinakis and Tyson Sangalang. Their success is a testament to the club’s dedication to developing young talent and fostering a strong community spirit.

This year, the Rhinos faced a new challenge: increased park hire fees due to their new, larger fields at Samantha Riley Reserve. The fees surged by $11,000, posing a significant financial burden on the club. However, Castle Hill RSL Club stepped in with a generous cash grant, helping the Rhinos absorb these fees.

This support ensures that the club can continue providing essential gear for the kids, such as tackle bags and bump pads, allowing them to develop their skills without the added financial strain.

Castle Hill RSL Club’s support doesn’t stop there. They have also provided free room hire for the Rhinos’ annual trivia night, one of the club’s major fundraising events. This gesture not only helps the club raise much-needed funds but also strengthens the bond between the Rhinos and the community.

Additionally, the Rhinos’ senior teams have been granted access to the RSL Club’s aquatic centre for post-match cool-downs on weekends. This facility is crucial for the players’ recovery and overall performance.
