CARE SERVICE FOR HER 88-YEAR-OLD MUM

Susie Pendergast was looking for a care service for her 88-year-old mum Gloria Hicks about four months ago.

She contacted Home Care Assistance after reading about the service in the Hills To Hawkesbury magazine and says she has been delighted with the service her mum has received.

Her mother’s care giver is Sue-ellen Proctor who comes in twice a week to give Susie a chance to catch up with errands and do things she need to do.

“She makes mum lunch, gives her a shower, reads to her or takes her for a walk,” said Mrs Pendergast.

“She is so caring and really looks after mum, we are so happy with Sue-ellen.”

Sue-ellen Proctor said: “Susie make me feel very welcome and a pleasure to be any assistance to Mrs Hicks a lovely lady lots of laughs a joy to be there.” Home Care Assistance provides seniors with one-toone assistance in their own home.
