Breakfast and Drive presenters at Alive

Unlike commercial radio Alive 90.5 has a team of Breakfast and Drive presenters which includes Adam Staples, Dennis Johns, Roger Brand on the Breakfast programs and Kerima-Gae Topp, Dom Vozzo, John Keating, Terry Swan, Aparna Vats for the Drive team. These Presenters shared some thoughts:

DENNIS JOHNS – Breakfast
Tues & Thurs 6am-9am
When he retired, Dennis approached the Chairman to offer his services. Dennis chooses all his own music to play and he scans all resources to ensure the news presented on his Breakfast Shows is factual and timely.

Music and news are the keys to getting our listeners’ day started successfully. We can’t change the news, but we can choose music that sends our listeners off to their various duties in a happier and therefore improved productive Mindset.

DOMINIC VOZZO –
Drive Tuesdays 4-6pm
Dominic Vozzo has been a radio presenter for over 35 years. During this time, he owned his own Disco business which was engaged by all the best hotels and clubs around Sydney. He has been involved in both commercial and community radio including 2CH, 2RDJ and SWR. He loves his music and also loves engaging with the public. Dom says “Alive 90.5FM Drive is all about playing great music and keeping the listener informed, mixed with weather and traffic reports. “

TERRY SWAN –
Drive Thursdays 4-6 pm
Terry Swan has been a presenter at Alive 90.5 FM for the past 3 years. He says “presenting was an accident”. After visiting a friend at the Alive Studio he was smitten with the idea of being a presenter. Terry is a real lover of music so presenting Thursday Drive gives him the opportunity to play music he feels fits the “Drive” timeslot. Music for him, is the one thing that takes you back in time, creates all sorts of happy emotions and connections to past events.
