Alive With Music

At ALIVE FM, we have so many different programs to listen to including travel, health, arts, interviews, cultural shows and of course music. Our music shows are so diverse that many will be featured over the next few issues.

One of the most successful shows in terms of listeners is the Australian Spectrum Show with Ross M Fear as his weekly featured Australian artists reach national Australian streaming listeners in every state and territory as well as significant international listeners.

Over the first year Ross tightened the format of the show and the pre-production of the podcasts to remove local sponsorship announcements, so the podcast of the show is more relevant to interstate and international listeners. Each episode is an artist special with interviews, the artist’s latest album and then a selection of tunes from their body of professionally recorded works.

Ross used to bring acts to Australia so he has plenty of contacts in the music industry and his shows are booked out months in advance. He has been broadcasting 100% Australian music for over 15 years and his well-known guests have included Brian Cadd, Men At Work, Australian Crawl and Mental As Anything.
