Additional $6.6 Million Fund For State Government WestInvest Program

“I am pleased to announce that Council has secured an additional $6.6 million of funding from the State Government WestInvest Program for three key community projects in The Hills Shire.”Dr Peter Gangemi said
Council was successful in its grant applications for
✅ $4.6m towards a pedestrian bridge overpass, connecting Castle Hill Showground and Fred Caterson Reserve in Castle Hill
✅ $1.1m towards the extension of Livvi’s Place Playground at Bernie Mullane Reserve in Kellyville
✅ $900,000 towards the rejuvenation of the Baker Crescent Shops in Baulkham Hills
This $6.6 million is in addition to the $15.5 million of WestInvest funding previously secured by Council to build a new indoor recreation centre at Horseworld and upgrade the Shire’s flood warning systems.
He thanks the NSW Government and Premier Dom Perrottet for supporting these key Council-nominated projects. These initiatives will help our growing community and will service our residents for decades to come.
