Hawkesbury, you are excellent recyclers! In 2021 residents recycled more than 5,100 tonnes of paper and cardboard, plastics, glass, and metals.

This benefits our community and our environment in so many ways. It saves valuable materials from being landfilled and instead allows them to be made into new products. This helps to save energy, water, and natural resources, and it also generates Australian jobs in recycling and manufacturing.
