Upper Colo Bridge Major Update

Exciting news! Work has begun at Upper Colo to rebuild the Upper Colo Bridge which was washed away during the 2021 floods.

The contractor has arrived on site and the delivery of machinery, fencing and site offices has started.

We are also salvaging the bridge timbers, and we want you to have your say on how we reuse them! A Heritage Interpretation Plan has been completed and is now available for public comment. This Plan and your feedback will help inform how we honour the bridge’s heritage, the community’s connection to it and the history of the region more broadly.
