Dural Bowling Club News

Three of Dural’s newer bowlers, Elizabeth Goode, Cheryle Hobart, and Lyn Luxford had their first taste of success at the Wattle Two Bowls Triples Carnival conducted by Pennant Hills Women’s Bowling Club on May 27 at Pennant Hills.

Undefeated in the two-game format, they were delighted that their opponents were notable bowlers.

The Dural team was awarded the overall winners’ prize in game one of the carnival. Around 20 other teams competed in the event which saw an excellent day of bowls.

Meeting new people is one of the bonuses of joining a bowling club. New members are always welcome and free coaching is available to acquire the skills to make the game even more enjoyable.
