Family Fun at The Farm and Waves for Australia Day
From pool party to festival of fun … there is a lot to get excited about in the Hills this Australia Day with big events planned at both Bella Vista Farm and Waves Fitness and Aquatic Centre.
The festivities kick off with a massive Australia Day pool party at Waves, followed by fun for the whole family at Bella Vista Farm on Friday 26th January.
Pop sensation and X-Factor winner Samantha Jade (pictured) will headline the free Bella Vista Farm event, alongside performances by Junkyard Beats (see story page 27), Dorothy the Dinosaur & Friends as well as local performance groups.
Hills Shire Mayor Dr Peter Gangemi said he is looking forward to a fun-filled event that caters to the entire family.
“Australia is the greatest nation on Earth and we have so much to celebrate as a community on the 26th January,” he said. national day alongside our fellow residents at The Farm.
“Our diverse assortment of entertainment, food, rides and activities, capped off by fireworks will ensure there’s something for everyone.
“Bella Vista Farm provides the perfect backdrop to celebrate our nation. Bring a picnic blanket and soak up the spirit of Australia Day in this stunning heritage location.”
On the day there will also be a range of activities and face painting for the kids before finishing with a spectacular fireworks display. Unlimited ride passes are $20 for the whole event, while one ticket is $5 and three are $10.
