Hawkesbury Show

The countdown is on until the annual Hawkesbury Show! To be held on April 20, 21 & 22nd the Hawkesbury Show is the largest single event in the Hawkesbury. There is something to entertain and delight all 60,000 visitors. Now the biggest regional show in NSW the Hawkesbury Show is where the city meets the country ant people from all over the state come to view the spectacular quality exhibits.

Whether you like the traditional displays such as cattle, horticulture poultry , crafts, cakes decorating and woodchop or quirky displays such as agility dogs, spinning and weaving, donkeys, racing pigs and painted sheep or the adrenaline pumping rides; this years Hawkesbury show promises to be bigger then ever before.

The Hawkesbury Show is deep in tradition and history, now in its 132nd year, it is backed by a strong committee dedicated to deliver an amazing display for all generations. This year visitors will also have an opportunity to support the Autism Advisory and Support Services and their mega-sized raffle.

In the Philip Charley pavilion you will find the art, craft, photography, sewing, preserves, flowers, fruit, vegetables, honey lapidary and for the second year Lego displays. If you wish to enter in these categories, please contact the Show office.

For the children the Animal Nursery is always a popular destination where you can feed a lamb or a Kid or hold a duckling or chicks. The arena entertainment will have everybody on the edge of their as the Motor Cross team jump high into the sky. There will of course be hundreds of different showbags to choose from.

With over 200 commercial displays you will be amazed at the quality of the locally made goods and services on offer. Free entertainment is in abundance – free range bird exhibit, grand parade, stage performance, Isuzu D-Max precision driving team and the everpopular fireworks on Friday and Saturday night.

When it comes to food the choices are endless. So, save the date, gather your family and friends and bring them along to share in the tradition, the excitement and the spectacle of the largest regional Show in NSW.
