THANK YOU TO ALL OUR MAGNIFICENT FIRE FIGHTERS, COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS AND THE ADF

Recently joined the Prime Minister to visit the Hawkesbury RFS Control Centre to be briefed on the massive fires in our region. We listened to our Rural Fire Service personnel and the Australian Defence Force personnel from 5 CSSB and 5ER, who are supporting the RFS in fighting these devastating fires and keeping us safe. These fires are ongoing and dangerous. Please stay informed and monitor conditions near you and have your bushfire plan in place. Drought is the government’s #1 priority. Our plan is to provide immediate help directly to people experiencing hardship, fund local solution to community needs and invest in long-term resilience measures. For further information on the Australian Government’s Drought Response, Resilience and Preparedness Plan visit https://www.agriculture.gov.au/ag-farmfood/drought/drought-policy.

During this season where families and communities come together, whatever your faith or beliefs are, please pray for rain for the communities in rural and regional Australia who are doing it the toughest this season.

Thank you to everyone working, volunteer support, or carers for those in need during these times of trial.

Family Christmas Thank You To All Our Magnificent Fire Fighters, Community Volunteers And The AdfCHRISTMAS: A TIME FOR HOPE AND LOVE
Christmas is a time of year when we come together as a community to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and Australia’s Christian heritage. The celebration of Christmas is also a time to be grateful and appreciate the blessings of peace and security we continue to enjoy as a nation. It is also a time this year for prayer for all those in need.

On behalf of Amelia, Jack, Lachlan, Thomas and myself, I wish you and your family a happy and holy Christmas, and a safe and prosperous 2020.
