Lucas Galea is one of many talented students recognised for their art at last night’s Nepean Festival of Art and Design at Nepean Creative and Performing Arts High School.

A wonderful collaboration with Zonta Club of Nepean Valley Inc the event brought together professional artists and students from 10 western Sydney schools in the one show.

With Archibald-winning painter Blak Douglas bringing star power to the night, it was a fabulous inaugural event. I was honoured to speak in my role as Special Envoy for the Arts and join Karen McKeown – Labor for Penrith in presenting some of the awards.

Congratulations to everyone involved in making the night happen – students, teachers and Zontians.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
