Sydney Thunder Fan Day
Cricket fans will have the chance to meet their Sydney Thunder heroes, including recently re-signed all-rounder Arjun Nair, at the Sydney Thunder Fan Day at Bruce Purser Reserve on Sunday, December 17.
“Our fan days in recent years have been incredibly successful but this year’s Sydney Thunder Fan Day in The Hills will be something really special,” Mayor of The Hills Shire, Dr Michelle Byrne said.
“Not only will Sydney Thunder fans be able to get up close with their favourite cricket stars, they will also be able to learn more about the game from elite players, which will ultimately improve and inspire their own game at a local level.
“Not only that, the entire park will be transformed into a celebration of local cricket.
“It will be an incredible day out for the whole family,” Mayor Byrne added.
Sydney Thunder will be there on the day signing autographs, attending the Junior Member Clinic and taking part in a Q&A session.
Plus, there will be plenty of activities for aspiring junior sports stars to enjoy, including cricket net sessions and a visit from Thor and Storm – the Sydney Thunder mascots.
