Hawkesbury Celebrates Youth at Successful NSW Youth Week 2025

This April, young people aged 12-24 took center stage during NSW Youth Week—a vibrant yearly celebration that empowers youth to voice their opinions, showcase their talents, and recognize the valuable contributions they make to their communities.

In the Hawkesbury region, the highlight of the week was the Youth Fest 2025, held at Richmond Park on Friday, April 11. The event attracted over 350 attendees, primarily young individuals eager to celebrate and connect. Organized by a dedicated working group from the Hawkesbury Youth Interagency, the event brought together local youth, support services, and council representatives to create an engaging atmosphere.

Attendees enjoyed an afternoon filled with live performances from local musicians, opportunities to connect with various community services, and a delightful array of food options. The festive ambiance was palpable, reflecting the spirit of collaboration and creativity among the youth.

Hawkesbury City Council extends its heartfelt gratitude to the stallholders and supporters of Youth Fest 2025. Special thanks go to Gassd Pizza and Paradise Ice Cream for their generous contributions, providing delicious freebies that added to the enjoyment of the day.
