Sonja Palic Named Local Woman of the Year

As part of NSW Women’s Week, I was delighted to announce that Sonja Palic has been named the 2021 Local Woman of the Year for Baulkham Hills.

Sonja palic is a passionate and dedicated advocate for women in the Baulkham Hills community.

Not only is Sonja the current co-chair of the Australian New Zealand Croatian Women’s Leadership Group where she has overseen substantial growth in the group’s membership base to 200 members, Sonja palic is also a member of the Sydney Hills Business Chamber.

Sonja first joined the chamber in 2014 and in 2016, she was appointed to the board where she assumed responsibility for the events portfolio before becoming chairperson in 2020. Since then, Sonja has been focused on increasing the engagement and participation of female community leaders and business owners in the chamber. Through her efforts, Sonja has proudly helped to drive a 20 per cent increase in female representation across the chamber membership.
