Speakers from the Hills Domestic Violence Prevention Network and Hills Community Aid were invited to our November meeting, held during the “16 Days of Activism” Campaign, giving us insight into the practical ways support is provided to women in need, whilst at the same time advocating for recognition and change.

As a practical way of contributing members put together a number of gift bags for women and children supported by Hills Community Aid and were able to deliver them on the day a Christmas lunch was held.

The Hills SI members meet monthly at a local venue. Anyone interested in learning more about the group should call Jan on 0439 417 576 or email [email protected].
