Samuel Gilbert Super Heroes Gear Up for Great Fete

Samuel Gilbert Public School students have brought their super hero spirit to support preparations for their Great Fete this year on Sunday 19 August.

Students were invited to enjoy a mufti day dressing as their favourite heroes to celebrate the spirit of the upcoming Great Fete.

“The Samuel Gilbert Public School community would like to invite one and all to join us at this year’s Great Fete,” said SGPS P&C President David Cox.

“This fantastic family event proudly wears the mantle as one of the biggest school fetes in north west Sydney, attracting around 8,000 people from across the Hills district and far beyond.”

Mr Cox said the support from the local community for the Great Fete was phenomenal, with all funds raised going directly back to the school to make sure students get the best possible education.

“The Great Fete will have something for everyone with a wide array of attractions on offer that will appeal to all ages. “This year’s attractions include carnival rides, market stalls, food from around the globe, home baked cakes and treats, and much, much more.

“We are very grateful to have Guardian Realty Dural on board as the principal sponsor, as well as major sponsors Jayco and Allcott Hire.

“People have always enjoyed the community atmosphere of our Great Fete, and all that it does and represents.

“Everyone’s welcome to enjoy a day of family fun which brings the community together in support of a great cause,” Mr Cox said.
