Rotary helping kids & their families

Last month The Rotary Club of The Hills-Kellyville had quite a bit to do with The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. We held a successful Father’s Day Breakfast, where our club members made and served breakfast to the many families at the new Ronald McDonald House at Westmead. The club also provided a specialised, state of the art, Visionary Spectralis Oct Diagnostic Eye Imaging equipment to the hospital. This ground-breaking technology now supports the only dedicated eye treatment clinic for children in NSW and allows paediatric ophthalmologists to provide the best medical care at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.

Funding to the tune of $150,000 was needed for the Eye Imaging equipment project and this was made possible through generous financial support from Rotarians and Rotary Districts in Australia and India as a Global Grant project of The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.

To be part of an inspired group that are making a difference, contact the club though our website or our Facebook page.
